The project shipped on 03-19-09 and is scheduled for start-up on 10-01-10. In addition to our bus duct, we also provided site engineering structural supports.
The scope of the expansion project, Southwest Unit #2, includes a new Toshiba steam turbine generator, Ecolaire condenser, three water storage tanks, and dry storage ash bin (bolted). The low-sulfur coal powered plant will add 300 megawatts to the plant’s existing capacity.
